Behavioural medicine or animal psychiatry

Bad education? Misunderstandings in communication?
Many dogs seem to behave badly, are anxious or even aggressive. Cats leave urine marks in the house or destroy the furniture. Some animals have had a bad youth or a traumatic event in their lives. Often there are lacks in the communication between men and animals. By sorting out the problem in a methodical way and prescribing a behavioural therapy (exercises, new structures in the environment) and a homeopathic medicine, behavioural deficits can be reduced.
The dog that is always scared of men can walk on the street again; the cat uses the litter tray again instead of urinating beside it.

The animal’s thoughts
Behavioural medicine means understanding the animal’s thoughts. Or put differently: “What does Pirate mean when he cries all night?” Does he have pain somewhere, is he stressed because of the new smell in the appartment, is he cross with his friend Garfield? Many questions need to be answered before the right measures can be taken. Behavioural medicine will allow the animal not to suffer anymore and everybody to live in peace an harmony again.
